2005 for escape limited edition was passing another car on a two lane road when the engine completely shut down and check engine light came one. Had to almost stop going the wrong way on a two lane road so the cars going the same direction as me could pas so i could get back in the correct lane and pull over to the side of the road. The mechanic replaced the pcm, ignition coil, and the spark plugs. Two weeks after the repair, all of the electrical components, including the parts that were replaced had melted.
