The rear gate will not open. The lock will not respond to the power unlock or remote and there is no way to get it open. There is no alternative way to open the rear gate and could be a problem in an accident. I have read multiple complaints on line from other escape owners, this seems to be a reoccuring issue with these vehicles, but is not a recall, and often times they don't know how to fix it. *tr
