I was driving down a major road when a deer ran out in front of me. I was going approximately 50 mph. I slammed on my brakes but hit the deer anyway. I was going approximately 40-45 mph when i hit the deer with the front of my car. The airbags did not deploy. The grill, bumper, and hood received major damage and needs replaced. I do not understand why the airbags did not deploy.

Purchased car 4/30/19 with 46,949 at 47,323 airbag light is on. Returned to ford 6/11/19 with 47,489 miles and ford advises it is covered under the srs 5/60 warranty. We were involved in a front end collision and the air bag sensors were damaged but no airbags deployed. Everyone from witnesses to first responders were surprised they didn't go off. The vehicle was in motion and was totaled out from a front passenger side collision. We were driving straight and the accident occurred in town.
